Who & Why?
My name is David Lee, currently working for FGSQUARED in Austin Texas. I am also a college student at the University of Texas at Austin studying advertising. I am a UX designer but I also have love for the social media. To read more about the origin of this campaign, please read the first post.
This is like a bet I am making against the world who think it is near impossible to survive 20 days with $20.09 worth of food. I need to restate the concept of this campaign more clearly. This campaign is about saving money and find creative ways to cook under the budget. Ultimately though, the main goal of this campaign is to drive more traffic to UFCU’s video contest.
The story begins something like this….
UFCU currently has a video contest running at http://www.twenty09challenge.com/
To get the words out there, I had proposed to run a viral campaign on the side. I have pitched the idea that I could survive 20days with food worth $20.09. They had accepted the proposal and we decided to run the campaign. Pretty much I got myself into the deep hole…..
